The addition of the prosperous state of health of both the mother and the newly-born adds the crown to my consolation, and I immediately made it public and celebrated. I thank the Lord for the fortunate outcome of such a great event and warmly take the opportunity to express to Your Majesty my sincere congratulations.

I ardently pray to the Lord God to preserve her for a long time with all prosperity. Dresden, 14 September 1740.
