The stamps, signed in 1943, commemorate twenty-five years of Queen Salote Tupou III's reign. Originally sent to the Queen by an autograph collector requesting her signature, the stamps were graciously returned, bearing her elegant handwritten autograph in blue fountain pen ink. This museum quality stamp block, measuring 3.5 inches by 2.75 inches, is in fine mint condition, with no signs of use or circulation.
