KNOW YE that We, confiding in your diligence and integrity and in pursuance of the powers vested in Us by an Act passed in the Eleventh Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King George the Sixth intituled the 'Fire Services Act, 1947' wherein it is provided that Inspectors under that Act may be appointed by Us, do hereby appoint you the said William James Carvin to be, during Our Pleasure, an Inspector of Fire Services.
