Massive historical importance! This is the only known period issue tax-free token presented to the Penderel / Pendrill family by King Charles II of England / Scotland to commemorate and memorialize the aid rendered to him by Penderel / Pendrill, as Prince, after the Battle of Worcester. England.

Medallion on stem affixed to miniature oak stave from the original Royal Oak. After the restoration in 1660, Charles II granted annuities to the Penderels for their services. These annuities are still paid to their descendants to this day.
Condition is original. Original patina. Diameter of coin / token is approximately 1.0\”. Weight is 12.0 grams, including oak stave. Museum quality. One of a kind! Authentic and correct.
