King Edward VIII, seeking approval for the appointment of said nominee for the position of X. Royal typeset letter document measures approximately 7.5\” x 9.5\”. Royal document is original with watermark. Condition is original / fine. Royal document was signed by King Edward  VIII  on January 22, 1936, just two days after becoming King! This is likely one of the very first documents Edward VIII signed as King! Royal autograph of Edward VIII manuscript hand-signed in ink \”E.R.I\”, an initialism of Edward Rex Imperator (king-emperor). Royal document is counter signed by Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin. Letter is written on official First Lord of The Treasury letterhead stationary, 10 Whitehall, London. Museum quality. One of a kind. Guaranteed authentic.
