1921 Serbia King Alexander I Signed Royal Document Autograph Yugoslavia Royalty

This royal decree, issued by King Alexander I of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes on December 19, 1921, formally recognizes the service and loyalty of Miloš A. Milinkovi. The document appoints Milinkovi to a distinguished role, entrusting him with specific duties and responsibilities based on his demonstrated abilities, loyalty, and dedication to the Kingdom. 

The decree reflects the ceremonial and authoritative nature of royal governance during this period, expressing the King’s trust and gratitude for Milinkovi’s commitment to fulfilling his obligations with honor and diligence. It is boldly hand-signed "Alexander" by King Alexander in black fountain pen ink, whose reign was marked by efforts to unify the culturally and regionally diverse population of the newly established Kingdom following World War I. 

The document also bears the countersignatures of the Minister of War and Navy and the Assistant Minister, adding to its official and binding nature. Preserved in excellent condition, the document remains unmounted and unframed, featuring the King’s signature and official royal seal. Issued just three years after the formation of the Kingdom in 1918, it serves as a valuable historical artifact, providing a unique glimpse into the early administrative and ceremonial functions of the state. Its provenance from a private collection further enhances its rarity and importance, making it a significant piece for collectors and historians interested in the history of the Balkans and the early years of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes.

Having considered the character, abilities, and loyalty of Miloš A. Milinkovi, we hereby appoint him to the position of [specific title or role, likely administrative or military rank], entrusting him with the associated duties and responsibilities. This decision is based on his demonstrated service and capabilities in fulfilling his obligations, which reflect his loyalty and dedication to the Kingdom.
